Christie's Holiday Gift Guide for 2020

Hi friends! Welcome to my holiday gift guide for 2020! This list of items is a list of my personal favorites I use all the time, and items on my personal wishlist. For all items I don’t yet have but, have had on my “to buy” list for a while, I’ll note with an asterisk*. Everything else is an item I truly use all the time and love. I’d highly recommend them all to you, my friends! All the coupon codes provided are from friends, or mine but, I do not receive any $$ back. They’re simply to help you out! As a heads up, some of the links and carousels included (to help make shopping easier) do give me a small commission, should you make a purchase! They help me put money back into my small business and to keep creating content like this for you!

Lastly, I have a “sustainable gift ideas” option for those of you who are low waste or aren’t looking to buy new items for friends or yourself this holiday season. Personally, I’ll be sending most of my family cash/gift cards or baked goods/tea/chocolates based on their preferences. I fully support those of you looking to do the holidays differently and more sustainably. Do good for the planet and your friends and family!

My top wishlist items that I don’t currently own are the Melin hat (perfect for working out, currently I use some free ones that are cotton, not for performance) and the Bala Bangles. I’ve been eyeing both for a while now!

One of my favorite items to gift in the fitness realm are shoes! My personal favorite all purpose trainer are the On Cloud X shoes (linked above) and my favorite trail runners (could also use for hiking) are the Salomon Sense Rides. As a heads up, I generally search through REI Co-op’s used site for any items I’m eyeing for a great deal/a more sustainable choice. They vet everything and you can return items! I use both multiple times a week and would highly recommend both!

Lastly, I had to include a few plugs - my monthly membership, live virtual classes, and lastly the Hydrow indoor rowing machine, where I am a Pilates instructor.

I wanted to put a specific plug for a few of the skincare/beauty favorites mentioned here. I absolutely LOVE the Follain line of skincare. It’s clean and at an affordable price, started by a local Boston women owned business. I use the cleanser for oily skin to help with acne paired with the hydrating mask to combat dryness. Additionally, I use the supergoop sunscreen every single day and have repurchased at least 4 times now. It dries matte, goes on clear so perfect for all skin tones, and doesn’t leave a weird white cast.
