Welcome to the #31DaysWithChristie New Year's Challenge!

Hello all!

Welcome to the #31DaysWithChristie New Year’s Challenge! This challenge is meant to challenge you to create healthy habits to kick off the new year. Instead of just focusing on losing weight, toning up, or our bodies, this challenge is a holistic health challenge. I’ll be asking you to focus on creating healthier habits for your mind, body, and soul. If you felt like the end of 2020 was just… well BLEH then, this is perfect for you.

I’m ending this year feeling all sorts of ways. Kind of unmotivated. Stuck in a rut. Creating and sticking with habits that I know aren’t great for me - like binging Grey’s Anatomy for hours (I just started and that show is GOOD). So here’s your chance, here’s your “sign”. We can do this together!

Here’s how it works:

For the first 31 days of 2021 (aka Jan 1 - Jan 31), you will be…

  • Doing something for your mind

  • Doing something for your body

  • Doing something for your soul

I’m intentionally leaving this open ended and flexible so you can…

  • Edit and change your goals/habits throughout the month as needed

    • I’ve tried so many times to set healthy habits and it hasn’t worked for some reason. I’m leaving this flexible so that even if something does come up (travel, family drama etc), you can still succeed even if it’s not meeting your original goal.

  • Pick and choose what your goals are yourself

    • I’m a very self motivated person. So I know I’ll stick with goals that are my idea better than if someone else tells me it’s a good idea.

It can be as complicated or simple as you want. Some ideas: reading, journalling, meditating for 5 minutes, going on a walk every day, working on getting a handstand for the first time, doing Pilates everyday, run a 5k by the end of the month, try going vegan for 31 days, cutting meat, cutting sugar etc. 

If you’re reading this before Jan 1, 2021… take your time following the steps below to set yourself up for success. If you’re reading this on or after - no worries! You can still join us - just make sure to read through these steps so you can succeed as well!

Step 1:  Plan your goals

Plan out your goals for the week or the month for the three pillars - mind, body, and soul. My suggestion… plan out your goals for the 31 days. Then, every week reassess to see if you’d like to pivot and change your goal for that week.

Make sure to tap the image below and save it to your phone so you can fill in your goals via the IG stories text feature and tag me on Instagram so I can see what you’ll be working on!

Step 2: Set yourself up for success

Once you’ve had your goals planned out. Make sure to set yourself up for success. Create a habit tracker or simply schedule it into your calendar you use day to day. I love the idea of a habit tracker (click here if you have no idea what I’m talking about) to keep track of things. I’ve included a weekly habit tracker that I’ve made for all of you below that you can print or, again save to your phone and use digitally!

Step 3: Share it + follow along
