CHRISTIE WANG IS A NATIONALLY CERTIFIED PILATES INSTRUCTOR WHO HAS LED THOUSANDS OF PILATES STUDENTS TOWARD HEALTH AND WELLNESS.

With over 11 years of experience teaching both Mat and Apparatus Pilates, Christie has a wealth of knowledge across populations. She owns Ascend Pilate based out of sunny San Diego, CA. She offers private one one-on-one sessions at Ascend Pilates, semi-private classes, and leads Mat and Reformer teacher trainings.

She specializes in working with “everyday movers”. These are your movers and athletes who are dedicated to fitness and wellness and who train for life. As a marathon runner, she is known for her tough but encouraging group classes, challenging private sessions, and an infectious love for fitness that she shares with all around her. She has had the honor of working closely with Olympians, professional athletes, and A-List celebrities.

Christie practices what she preaches as she strives to achieve a balanced, healthy lifestyle that incorporates her own personal Pilates practice, marathon running, bike commuting, and group fitness classes. You can also find Christie doing fitness and commercial modeling with Brand Models in LA.

NPCP Certified as of 2016, 3rd generation classical instructor comprehensively trained by Julie Erickson of Endurance Pilates and Yoga (1000 hours)

But, after working with Christie, I’m totally sold on incorporating private Pilates into my routine. Christie is an amazing teacher who works with you to make each workout challenging.
